New signage providing site history, contact details, and digital access to cemetery maps and burial information has been installed at Elrod Cemetery.

By simply aiming the camera on a phone, tablet or other mobile device on the QR code displayed on the sign, cemetery visitors can now view detailed maps and a directory of those buried at Elrod Cemetery.
A Note on Cellular Service Onsite
Use of these digital references requires internet access on the user's device and may be affected by the quality of cellular signal available at the time of the visit. As anyone from this part of White County will tell you, service is improving for the cemetery location, but can still be a challenge for some providers. Visitors with cellular service issues, can download a copy of the map to their device prior to visiting the cemetery by using this link.
New cemetery signage was made possible by the generous donations of Elrod Cemetery supporters and was built and installed by volunteers Stanton Nash, Royce Smith, Fred and Linda Gilliam, Stephen Conley, Shelly Dodson and Jonathan Smith. During the installation day, volunteers also moved the existing roadside sign to focus traffic on the new, safer entrance into the cemetery from Burgess Falls Road.
